Department Details Entry level IT Technical position. Work will be performed from a Fargo Sanford location. You will be part of an experienced team. Most all work will be performed during normal business hours. Some after hours work will be required, on a limited basis.

Job Summary Analyzes, troubleshoots, resolves performance issues and works with internal support teams, help desk and outside vendors to resolve tickets and implement new/upgraded systems. Requires general networking support and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the technology field. The Personal Systems Technician works with unconventional devices or software packages that are unique to an individual or a department's needs. Requires exercising independent judgment to perform the functions of the job. Attends training, as needed, to obtain specific hardware/software knowledge. Understands a systems approach to problem solving and process improvement. Extensive working knowledge in the configuration and maintenance of personal computers and related operating systems and applications. Working knowledge of the LAN's, WAN's, and connectivity applications. Ability to work with multiple departments and facilities in providing necessary support and installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software standards. Position requires on-site support in multiple clinical and non-clinical departments and facilities including patient rooms, emergency department, and other patient care areas. Must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Excellent team and collaboration skills, with an ability to work under minimal supervision. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Once trained, will be required to be part of the On-Call rotation for the team.

Qualifications Associate's degree in computer related field. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2 years in applicable technical related field is preferred. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
