Relocate to Richland, WA? Homebuilder seeking Experienced CAD Drafter

Looking to Relocate? Tri-City Homebuilder (Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, WA) seeking an Experienced CAD Drafter who is knowledgeable in IRC design requirements, and designing/drawing floor plans/elevations, designing beams, braced walls, footings, full plan sets, and submitting/obtaining building permits for residential homes.

We are a small business, and we all pitch in where needed, so secondary to the CAD drafting, we are also looking for someone who also has experience in Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally Photoshop and Illustrator, or feels like they can pick it up quickly if taught. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, 3d modeling, etc is a plus.

The software we use is Chief Architect, so must either be familiar with it or be able to learn it quickly. Must be organized, detailed, efficient, punctual, and be able to communicate effectively. Understanding of residential framing, foundations, and trusses is preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Job duties will be based on workload and may include other things like taking photos of homes under construction, updating Facebook and website, working with spreadsheets, helping keep our shop/warehouse organized and stocked, etc.

Attitude is everything and a willingness to do whatever is needed is a must. We will train the appropriate candidate if needed. We are a fun, fast-paced, growing company and are looking for like-minded team members. We are a non-smoking company.

Compensation is likely $50k - $70k based on experience.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Produce accurate construction drawings including plans, roof drawings, electrical, cabinets, and elevations using Chief Architect, and Photoshop.

Produce to-scale site plans and other related drawings

Produce 3D color renderings and other related marketing materials

Assist in website content creation and updating
