Job Description

The Application Manager is accountable for the implementation, support and maintenance of business applications as well as managing the applications team consisting of business, application and data analysts. We are looking for a driven individual that is motivated to succeed with excellent leadership and project management skills. A qualified candidate will have an understanding of manufacturing systems and how simplified processes drive employee ownership at all levels in the organization. In addition, the Applications Manager is responsible for our product master data management solution and processes ensuring customer facing data is clean and accurate, including pricing. This individual will manage the planning and implementation of projects ensuring policies and procedures are consistent with company goals, best practices, software compliance, and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure ERP systems as well as other business applications are highly available and maintained using best practices and robust security standards
  • Determine project schedules and effectively manage the allocation of resources to achieve project objectives
  • Create and manage project and application team budgets
  • Work closely with our user community and IT professionals to build consensus and standards that are scalable, adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of a changing business landscape

· Comply with SOX audit requirements and execute change management best practices

· Ensures compliance with software licensing

  • Ability to train and develop staff members and participate in professional development plan
  • Support system users and troubleshoot system problems
  • Ensure that ITW welding companies engaged in electronic transacting are viewed as excellent trading partners by our customers and vendors
  • Ability to deliver solutions with industry leading security and efficiencies that aligns with the Enterprise Agenda
  • Experience with managing Microsoft cloud systems, workloads and environments for Dynamics 365

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT technical, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience with IT applications and systems
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing a team of 3 or more
  • Basic understanding of sales and distribution, manufacturing and accounting
  • Experience implementing cloud infrastructure and implementations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong customer support orientation
  • Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
