System Administrator

Quest Solutions Inc is seeking a candidate with a strong technical aptitude and a success-minded attitude to join our client's telecom and data networks team as a junior System Administrator. You’ll work to solve problems for our telecom customers while playing a key role in the security administration and operational support of our data network infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have proven customer service skills, a solid foundation of telecom equipment and operational processes and be able to work independently and as part of a team to get the job done. On-the-job training sets this role apart, providing excellent exposure to more advanced network administration for someone seeking that path.

• Work incoming ticket queue (ServiceNow) for telecom and basic network issues and requests, keeping the queue managed to service level expectations
• Manage the origination and closure processes for quarterly security reviews of key network infrastructure, including edge switches, firewalls, data center equipment and more.
• Assist customers with ordering, set up and support of hosted Voice over IP phone service
• Provide on-call rotation assistance to the Telecom / Data Networks team
• Provide phone system configuration support and guidance to call center teams (adjust queue routing, record holiday greetings, etc.)
