CITRIX ENGINEER (STACC-21-1090-F): Bowhead seeks a Citrix Engineer to support a client in North Charleston, SC. The Citrix Engineer will work to integrate Windows desktops within a Citrix environment. Other responsibilities include: • Managing system uptime and availability for Windows/Citrix servers in a VMware virtualized architecture. • Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting issues with Windows and Citrix servers. • Applying operating system and software patches and upgrades for Windows/Citrix servers and workstations. • Working with team members to manage port, protocol, and network configuration information for Windows/Citrix servers and hosted applications. • Working with team members to implement IAVs and STIG mitigations to satisfy cybersecurity requirements. • Collaborating with other team members to develop, implement, and revise processes to meet technical and security-related requirements for administration of Windows/Citrix servers and workstations. • Documenting, communicating and implementing standardized processes and procedures for effective administration of servers and workstations. • Maintaining all DoDD 8140.01 Cyberspace Workforce Management qualifying criteria certifications, an active clearance and all annual required training. Requirements • Five (5+) years of relevant technical experience. • Comprehensive knowledge of the following: - ESXi 6.0 and 6.7 - Windows 2008 and above - Windows Core 2016 - RHEL 6 and above - Citrix 7.15 on Nutanix - ForcePoint TTC - Veeam - AD Domain components (DNS, Sites and Service, Group policy, DHCP) • Possess strong troubleshooting skills. • CompTIA Security + (or higher) certification Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant discipline. • Experience with Exchange, PowerShell, and general networking, vSAN, and Rubrik exposure. • Advanced certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or similar. • Experience with CI/CD processes. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level PLUS the ability to obtain a TS level clearance with SCI eligibility. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
