DETAILS:Position: Salesforce Engineer Location: Boise Length: 12 month Visa authorization: W2 & H1/B Shift:8-5 Reason: Backfill Requirement: College degree or equivalent experience. Our client has recently acquired a company in the same industry and are still going through the transition and integrations of their IT systems.PROJECT: The Salesforce Engineer is a recognized leader on Salesforce Platform Engineering. Utilizes Salesforce best practices and applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business problems. Works within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope which may require in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements, strategy, vision, and standards for the development and integration of a multi-cloud Salesforce implementation. May act as a project leader providing expertise or direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Provides mentoring and guidance to the Salesforce Platform Delivery Team.DAY TO DAY RESPONSISIBILITIES:
- Serve as Salesforce Technical Development Expert for the Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, B2B Commerce Lightning, CPQ).
- Enforce Salesforce Development Best Practices when developing and documenting solutions.
- Participates as a member of and leads cross-functional development teams, including offshore teams.
- Demonstrates technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
- Participates in cross-functional teams and provides mentoring and guidance to other developers.
- Contributes to strategic direction for team.
- Develops innovative multi-cloud solutions to complex problems.
- Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for company and customers.
- Design, prepares, and executes Unit tests.
- Code quality and code reviews.
- Manage large time-sensitive work/projects maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Mentors and consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
