Title: Switchboard OperatorDuration: 3 months+Location: Honolulu, HI 96819Description:Places, receives and routes a high volume of calls through an electronic key system or a switchboard system. Takes and relays telephone messages. Greets, escorts and directs visitors. Provides general information to callers or visitors. Provides telephone directory assistance. Has ability to communicate clearly and accurately; uses a telephone system to receive and transfer calls; and shows patience and courtesy when dealing with people. ENTER YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Additional Job Details Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:1. Receive & process calls received at Client call switch and ensure accurate call routing.2. Demonstrate accurate and rapid response to all hospital emergency & disaster code calls3. Assign, service and maintain stock of pagers for medical staff.Top 3-5 Required Skills:1. Demonstrate working proficiency with Windows computer programs, database and e-mail systems2. Ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously with numerous distractions3. 42-45 WPM (must attached typing test scores to resume)Required Skills:1. Demonstrates highly effective inter-personal communication skills, conflict resolution ability2. Ability to work without direct supervision as part of a team3.
