This position is responsible for the development and implementation ofcost-effectivemanufacturing processes anddocumentationin accordance with safety requirements, product specifications,and quality standards. Additional areas include research, development,and implementation of improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.Actionswill be coordinated in conjunction with Engineering, Sales,Operations,and/or other departments as necessary.Specifically, you'll perform the following duties:

  • Coordinates with Operations to develop, maintain, and improve processes and documentation
  • Develops, documents,and facilitates continuous improvement of productassemblyand repairmethods, standardized assembly tooling/fixtures, and workflow
  • Identifiesopportunities fordesign and/or processcost reduction
  • Engineering department manufacturing liaison - facilitates communication/action between Engineering and Operations
  • Developsand maintainsschedules; completestasks accurately,within deadlines, and with minimal supervision
  • Other responsibilities as required by the Engineering Department
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree inManufacturing Engineering,Industrial Engineering, orMechanical Engineeringwith a manufacturing specialization
  • Prefer 5-7years' experience in manufacturing engineering or related areas
  • Manufacturing experience with mobile, pipeline, agricultural or other off-highway equipment strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6sigma, Safety, and Quality Assurance
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
