Destination Japanese Restaurant looking for an experienced Japanese sushi chef: Pay higher than industry average.

Japanese restaurant rated #1 in Phoenix, and a rare position is available for Sushi Roll Maker/ kitchen chef.

This position is responsible for making and preparation of menu items; including extensive experience making sushi rolls, daily inventory and inspection of all fish and sushi making in order to ensure quality control of raw materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in sushi preparation and excellent customer service skills at a very high volume and fast paced restaurant. Hired chef will be generously compensated, and pay is higher than industry average.

The sushi chef must be detail oriented, knowledgeable about all kinds of sushi, and a team player. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills and be task-oriented.

This position can be challenging due to the high volume of the restaurant and tight space and it is all a matter of how much effort is put in.
