Heavy Equipment Operator - $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS

Established Underground Construction Company is looking for experienced Loader Operators, and Mainline Hoe Operators for installation of sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer.

Experienced operators can start at $30-$33/hour

All work is located in or around Des Moines, IA

Essential Functions:

Operates all equipment necessary for digging ditches or trenches, backfilling excavations, or compacting and leveling soil to grade specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work with heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, backhoes, tractors and scrapers.

Thorough operational knowledge and skills of specific equipment to be operated.

Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.

Ability to fuel, oil and grease equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Work environment conditions consist of working in the sun, heat, cold, and water where the conditions could be dirty or dusty.

Employee must be able to sit in the same position for up to 10 hours a day consecutively.

Must pass Priority Excavating physical exam and drug test.
