Through internal communications, public relations and corporate communications, you’ll provide a wide range of marketing and communications services to internal and external audiences. These include current and future clients, our current and future employees, alumni, regulators, the media and the communities within which we operate.The opportunityYou’ll spearhead the development and implementation of a variety of internal communications that align with our Talent programs and initiatives, EY culture and values and our Americas leadership business objectives. We’re looking for a professional to bring fresh thinking, organization and prioritization, and new ideas to engage our people and continue to attract and retain top talent. You will be expected to team closely with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, agency partners and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) colleagues to help drive awareness and understanding of Talent programs that impact Americas professionals.Your key responsibilitiesYou’ll be expected to liaise with our Americas Leadership and Talent teams to help develop and execute People/Talent related campaigns and communications that will reach more than 55,000 professionals across the Americas. You will be responsible for building and cultivating strong trusted advisor relationships with key internal Talent stakeholders and program leads to provide communications support that reinforce approved business priorities and objectives. You will be responsible for advising Talent leaders on best practice communications approaches that drive consistent messaging.Skills and attributes for successLeverage organizational and project management skills; craft agile short-term and long-term action plans

Work with BMC Talent leader to develop and execute a communication strategy for various communications, including Learning and Development, Total Rewards (compensation and benefits), Corporate Responsibility, well-being and more

Provide creative input and execution for special projects that showcase EY as an employer of choice and promote EY as a best place to work for new and experienced professionals

Ability to present complex ideas and anticipate potential objections by leveraging experience, insight and creativity to influence others to consider innovative solutions by presenting alternatives when obstacles and objections arise

Able to apply critical thinking to anticipate and communicate the ramification of decisions and issues to project stakeholders

Leverage extensive experience and deep insight to deftly advise and influence leadership on the optimal use of communications to share best practices, build the business and create a shared and inspirational vision

Strong business acumen, executive presence, and personal leadership

Innovative, creative thinkers who are strategic, collaborative and consultative and who can bring a fresh perspective will thrive in this environment

To qualify for the role, you must haveMinimum of 10 years of communications experience is preferred

A Bachelor’s degree with a Communications or related major or equivalent experience

Strong writing and editing skills and previous writing/editing experience in internal communications, PR, or journalism fields

Experience with and/or deep understanding of Talent and HR functions

Ability to build relationships with senior leadership as well as peers and colleagues at all levels

Experience navigating a matrixed organizational structure and make strategic connections to help drive success

Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive or proprietary information

Proven ability to articulate complex content into cohesive, clear, straightforward messaging for broad audiences

Experience in successfully managing and delivering executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment

Experience in internal event development and rapid response communications

Ideally, you’ll also haveExperience in successfully managing and delivering executive communications requests in a large-scale corporate environment preferred.

Ability to explore innovative uses of technology to achieve goals and stay at forefront of best-in- class communications practice

Experience in measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and approaches.
