DevSecOps Engineer

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Principle Security Engineer to join their team in the Alpharetta,GA or Boca, FL area. We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Security Engineer, responsible for the design, development and deployment of Information Security tools and processes in accordance with organizational patterns and procedures. Within this role, you will be partnering with other security and business technology teams, to help build and automate tooling, offered through coded modules, to enable Information Security processes within CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in cloud technologies, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation and scripting, and security engineering or administration. These skills may have been acquired through roles across Dev(Sec)Ops, Software Development, or traditional security engineering/ administration. Terraform, Ansible, GitLab/ Hub, Docker, Kubernetes are a plus. Hold industry relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CSSLP, GCSA, or cloud-native equivalents.7+ years experience in a security engineering/DevSecOps role Have strong working knowledge of cloud-based security technologies across AWS or Azure. Expeirence with Infrastructure as code and experience in utilizing automation technologies or in authoring CI/CD pipelines. o Terraform, Ansible, GitLab/ Hub, Docker, Kubernetes Have detailed knowledge across a broad range of security domains, with in-depth understanding of network, systems and application security. Proven experience recommending/implementing new tools based on best practices as they relate to Infosec
