Cloud Engineer

Peerless has a 5-year contract to support STRATCOM/J61 in the Command and Control Facility (C2F) at Offutt AFB, NE. We are seeking a Cloud Engineer for immediate hire. This candidate will be the lead for a 4-to-8 person team. This team provides IT engineering expertise for enterprise systems in the C2F to ensure the Command’s IT architecture and solutions will meet enterprise requirements. Objectives for this team include:-Develop and propose enterprise IT solutions, perform independent reviews of technical solutions to ensure optimal courses of actions are being pursued.-Test and/or evaluate end results of IT projects executed against stated objectives for quality assurance/quality controls purposes.-Assist Government Project Managers with development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) for IT projects.-Develop or recommend changes to IT related processes and procedures.-Make recommendations to ensure all USSTRATCOM IT assets are properly implemented, integrated, managed and secured.-Develop and present decision briefs concerning optimal courses of actions on how best to address problems requiring IT engineering resources.-Research and present recommendations on how the command can best leverage emerging technologies to be incorporated into IT Roadmaps.REQUIREMENTS-An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)-At least five (5) years of experience in cloud technologies-Possess (twelve) 12+ years of experience as an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert providing advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation.-Requires project management skills to monitor, manage, and assess progress of complex IT projects with an understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies and regulations.-IAM Level 1 and IAT Level II Certifications
