Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Loan Operations Manager for a direct placement with one of our premier financial services clients in New Castle, DE. Responsibilities :- Day to day management responsibility over 4 + FTE
- Support the Loan Operations production leads in drafting, implementation, and oversight of Corrective Action Plans.
- Perform proactive reviews of process and controls, supporting the Operation in performing root case analysis and translating learnings into robust Operating Procedures and training.
- Designing, monitoring, and reporting of key risk indicators to proactively capture risk trends.
- Creating reports, decks, data dashboards, graphs and visualizations and presenting them successfully to management using interactive reporting tools.
- Development and administration of Loans training for Loan Operations Globally
- Perform any other additional tasks as warranted by business requirements.
- Provides value-added perspective or advice that contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of the loan documentation processes for the area.
- Resolves complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of loan procedures and industry standard
- Makes a significant contribution to change-the-bank projects and offers solutions at an advanced level
- Identifies loan related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the firm, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
- + 4 years of relevant industry experience (preferred a subject matter expert in Loan Operations, Risk and Control, or Compliance)
- + 4 years of management/line manager experience.
- Experience in creating reports, decks, data dashboards, graphs and visualizations and delivering senior executive-level presentations. Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to track delivery of multiple priorities across multiple owners
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information, translate into business goals, and drive results with a high sense of urgency and ownership.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and written/verbal communications skills.
