Job Description As a Senior Technical Engagement Leader (TEL) for CernerWorks Federal Client Operations, you will be responsible for the overall definition, delivery, and planning of integration-related work during Cerner's software implementation and services efforts. You will provide oversight to manage and maintain multiple Cerner client environments, including the technical and application aspects of the client relationship. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and solution vision, objectives, and strategy to achieve optimal system performance and stability. You will act as an escalation point for client issues and risks, collaborating with client and internal teams to drive and resolve incidents. You will plan, monitor, and ensure the delivery of client project services from initiation to completion. You will serve as the technical liaison between Cerner and client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule and within scope. Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting client go-live events, operational support oversight, planning and managing client upgrades as well as developing and managing overall client technical project roadmap and domain strategy. In addition, you will cultivate and maintain client relationships, and facilitate day-to-day operations and communications.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 years system administration, system engineering and/or technical project/program management work experience
    • At least 6 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1+ years of experience working on Integration projects leveraging HL7, X12, and/or FHIR
  • At least 1+ years of experience and a solid understanding of database technologies
  • At least 3+ years of project management/implementation work experience
  • PMP Certification

Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airport
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
