Drafter - DC

As a Drafter, you will support the Product Engineering Design personnel with drafting, BOM input, special options and other duties as assigned by Product Engineering Management.

Essential Functions:

1. Primary responsibilities of this position include:

a. Detail drawings and modify existing drawings

b. Enter Bill of Materials into ERP systems

c. Create part numbers

2. Convert existing drawings to Solid Works design

3. Create special options (drawings and BOM)

4. Support special projects as required for new models, model updates, etc.

5. Research cost reductions for Production

6. Create documentation and instructions

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

1. Associate Degree, Design or Drafting Technology or equivalent experience

2. Working knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling software

3. Ability to work in a 'team environment'

4. Work with basic measuring tools, calipers, tape measure, scientific calculator

5. Solid understanding for word processing and spread sheet software
