A Fortune 10 Healthcare Client is seeking a Lead Software Architect to join their team. This architect will assist in a major project set to help map out new architecture for the next generation of the companys website. This architect will be responsible for truly understanding the applications and participating in the building of architectural strategic direction for Digital. This architect will need to have extensive experience leading projects with a large level of scope and ability to drive broad solution initiatives. The architect will work with multiple stakeholders, including business, product, and UX team members to influence the application data-flow design and extensible product platform architecture. He/she will need to provide guidance to developers and stakeholders regarding design of server applications, encompassing APIs and microservices, containers, cloud services, cloud infrastructure, etc. The architect should be coming from a strategic and leadership background working in an agile environment. This position starts off remote, but requires candidates to be local to one of Digital hubs and can sit onsite post-COVID - Burlington or Boston MA, Woonsocket RI, Florham Park NJ, New York City, Northbrook IL (Chicago), Irving TX (Dallas). - Experience working in the product side or digital transformation side of IT- Deep GCP experience - Masters Degree - Previously worked for a Product company or brand name companies- 10-15 years of software experience and 4-5 years of architect experience - Ability to lead technical architecture initiative that impact multiple agile trains - Tech Stack:o GCP (or other cloud platform), Java, Python, Node.js, Kubernetes, Postgres, Springboot, Micorservices, Mongo db, CICD, Jenkins, and terraform (IAC)- Unix/Linux background (this organization is 100% Unix)- Knowledge of Event Driven architecture with Kafka - Having large level of scope and great level of vertical range for decision making - Technical bachelors degree (software engineering, etc.)- Highly collaborative and ability to lead/influence team members
