Job DetailsThe Ideal Candidate:Is a critical thinker that challenges assumptionsSeeks new ideasPersistently drives activity to achieve resultsActively solicits opposing perspectives and alternative ideasProactively shares accomplishments, knowledge, lessons, and updates across the organizationDrives customer value versus meeting customer demandsKey Responsibilities:Develop firmware applications and scripts on different platformsParticipate in full software development lifecycle from idea conception through release and maintenanceUtilize various microprocessor/microcontroller development kits to determine design compatibilityCollaborate with the team during design, development, and integrationAssist with the maintenance of source repositoriesTroubleshoot support inquiries escalated from our technical support groupMaintain and improve the performance of existing softwareWrite high-quality, efficient, testable codeContribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvementBuild out applications and infrastructure for the Niagara-based suite of productsContribute to the continuous improvement of the internal processesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science2+ years of embedded development experience2+ years of Niagara 4 developer experience (This is the only experience truly needed)2+ years of C programming experienceBonus knowledge:Experience with Linux developmentExperience with Java programming developmentExperience with shell scriptingExperience with TCP/IP, RS232, and RS485 protocolsExperience with board bring up for new productsExperience in developing cloud-enabled services and applications; understanding of cloud infrastructure services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS) is a plusInterested in hearing more?
