- Hands-on for configuring, managing, and maintaining SQL Server database servers and processes
- Highly efficient developer in developing, maintaining complex ETL, SSIS packages. Any exposure to Azure Data Factory or Azure SSIR– Integration runtime would be advantageous.
- Develop and demonstrate the technical design for SSIS transformation, Replication, Database monitoring and Data Security
- Work with and through both functional and technical project team members to deliver products in an agile manner
- Work with data engineers and DBAs in resolving complex technical and operational issues
- Provide thought leadership for innovative data solutions to address complex business problems
- Meet delivery needs that focus on cloud data migration
- Technical SME for customer-facing project delivery for Cloud migration, Cloud modernization, data management, and data analytics projects aimed at Federal government
- Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed.
- 5+ years of database development and troubleshooting skills and ability to work closely across multiple teams and vendors to ensure successful releases and enterprise scale data migration.
- 5+ years of oracle development experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing and managing enterprise-level databases using relational databases (SQL Server)
- 3+ years of experience with ETL tools like Microsoft SSIS/Azure SSIS IR/Azure Data Factory
- 2+ years of experience with SQL Analysis Services, SSRS.
- 1+ years of experience with at least one of the Microsoft Azure cloud native data services like Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure
- Integration runtime and Azure Data warehouse (Synapse).
- Ready to embrace a fast-paced work environment with deadlines and new challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience delivering solutions using Agile delivery practices
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, business intelligence
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure
- 5+ years hands-on cloud migration experience in Azure (incl. Azure App Service)
- 3+ years of experience in assessing legacy on-prem workload and refactoring the workload to fit PaaS architecture.
