Potential for Remote Work: NoDescription SAIC has an immediate need for a AEA Engineering Technician in Crane, IN.

Job Description: Provide technical and maintenance support for the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Systems Sustainment Division for initial system design, upgrades to fielded systems, and maintenance and operational support for Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to include ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS), ALQ-99 On Board Systems (OBS), ALQ-99 ICAPIII, ALQ-218(V)1, ALQ-218(V)2, ALQ-240, USQ-113, APS-130, ASW41, and other assigned EW systems and related Support Equipment. Provides technical support for AEA assigned systems or platforms to include the modification, maintenance, repair, and upgrade (MRU) of fielded EW systems and related Support Equipment. Test and evaluate AEA and related systems, subsystems, equipment and components both locally and at other test sites and locations. Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment; coordinate test schedules; prepare inputs for test plans; review test plans and procedures; conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing; adjust units under test; analyze test results; and determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data. Qualifications

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma with two (2) years or more of related experience.

Required Experience:
  • Some practical knowledge of science or engineering.
  • Semi-professional technical support experience for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement.
  • Experience pertaining to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment.

Required Clearance:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or an Interim Secret Clearance required
