Potential for Remote Work: NoDescription SAIC is seeking a Lead Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train Engineer to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large, complex projects to achieve key customer business objectives. SAIC is a SAFe Gold Certified Partner with large-scale SAFe development contracts across the Federal government. The Lead RTE will direct cross-functional and cross-technology teams; develop and manage execution plans to achieve objectives; identify and remove blockages across teams; oversee budgets and time capture activities; manage schedule and resource estimates, and record and report actual results. The position requires the ability to solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on a national-security critical enterprise system. The Lead RTE will assist teams in meeting and exceeding Agile maturity and delivery objectives; translating highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences; influencing senior leadership to adopt new ideas, practices, or approaches. The RTE is responsible for aligning and harmonizing work across multiple teams on critical development and sustainment programs. The position requires the ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships across technical and business teams; to support multiple business work streams to lead, plan and execute work by program increments and deliver value. Ensure Scrum teams are aligned to enterprise processes and standards, and coach teams in SAFE practices. This opportunity is contingent upon award. Qualifications Required:
  • 7+ years of Agile experience as developer, scrum master, or SAFe RTE
  • 3+ years demonstrated leadership as a SAFe RTE
  • Experience with modern microservices architectures
  • SAFe RTE Certification
Desired:

  • IRS experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent
  • PMP
