Job DetailsSUMMARY: As the Senior Equipment Development Engineer you will work with our customer and parent company's equipment and process engineers. You will create and enable new process and equipment capabilities of new or an extension of an existing platforms. MUST HAVES:
  • CVD(Chemical vapor dep) or diffusion Equipment experience.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with Gas Delivery systems or Vacuum low pressure experience.
NICE TO HAVES:
  • Thermal/ thermal Batch or Plasma Experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Determine customer technical improvement needs and provide information to the factory to implement / modify equipment that will meet these needs.
  • Improve equipment performance and productivity through customer / factory interaction.
  • Support new equipment and process development and implementation at customer development sites.
  • Review documentation to assure accuracy and suggest improvements.
  • Convert equipment or construct components that provide process solutions that meet the customer needs.
  • Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
  • Plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
  • Hands-on equipment experience with semiconductor equipment platform
  • Experience with LP-CVD, ALD, and/or Plasma Enhanced processes
  • Leadership experience
