BigData AWS Solution Architect

Location: Philadelphia, PA Description: Our client is actively interviewing and hiring for an AWS Big Data Solutions Architect. This position will start as remote and when offices open will be onsite in Philadelphia area. This job will have the following responsibilities:• Own and drive design and development of AWS and Big Data based Solution architecture. • Provide architectural solutions/designs to project teams for implementation. • Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for team. • Lead projects within architecture. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements. • and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features. • Project and solution estimation. • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping, and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production. • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks. • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions. Qualifications & Requirements:• Strong networking experience on AWS with VPC, Subnets, ACLs, Routing tables and Security Groups andArchitecture experience with Spark, AWS and Big Data. • Complete understanding of AWS security framework with IAM roles, groups, policies, and trust relationship and key management with KMS • Understanding of Data storage fundamentals using S3, RDS, and DynamoDB • Hands On experience of AWS Compute Services like Glue, EMR & DataBricks and Experience with big data tools Hortonworks /Cloudera.
