A bit about us:We are a 24 year full discipline architectural and engineering firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We have an opening for an experienced Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in structural or civil engineering field seeking to expand their engineering knowledge and responsibility in a multi-discipline company. Structural experience within the AEC industry is required. Experience with retail/prototypical work is preferred but not required. Experience with non-prototypical and government work is preferred. A P.E. license with a focus in structures is required (civil, SE1 or 16-hr SE).

Job DetailsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering Focus6-10 years' experience in structural engineering with a focus in buildingProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licensePosition Requirements:Must be intimately familiar with the structural chapters of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360Experience working in RevitExperience working in AutoCADExperience with RISA analysis software suiteSoft Skills such as being able to critique without criticizing others or their work are requiredResponsibilities include:• Ability to accurately and precisely engineer a variety of structural systems• Ability to establish budgets for the structural work and work with project managers in developing the project plan and schedule for a project• Provide engineering input to CADD personnel to complete Construction Documents• Interact with other engineers to complete Construction Documents• Gather information from and coordinate with other disciplines• Mentor and manage work of younger staff for multiple project types and schedules• Effective oral and written communication skills• Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs• Effectively build and maintain relationships with team members• Maintain a positive and professional work environmentInterested in hearing more?
