RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Kirtland AFB, NM that is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team ensuring compliance with customer and corporate standards in the delivery of a nationally critical suite of spacecraft command and control systems. The QA Manager must know commonly accepted quality standards and have proven leadership skills. They will be comfortable engaging QA in waterfall and Agile projects. They will lead, maintain, mature and modernize QA processes and policies. They will work with the leadership to ensure work practices reflect best practices for product delivery and outstanding customer service. They will lead a QA team that will inspect, audit, report and improve on product delivery approaches and methods.Additional responsibilities include: Quality Assurance Manager will work shoulder to shoulder with program and Customer personnel to execute to the Quality Management Plan, deliver metrics and support CDRL deliverables Apply and improve metrics for and accuracy of all tracked and reported QA data Develop and implement a long-term Quality Management improvement strategy Quality Assurance Manager will be working with the Training Lead to create and manage internal processes and procedures to ensure personnel possess the certification and qualifications necessary for them to perform their duties (i.e. their receipt and maintenance of ISO, CMMI, CMMC and potentially other certifications) Work closely with mission assurance and risk management to generate preventive and corrective action plans Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for development and delivery of oral and written briefings to peers, customer and LeadershipREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or relevant field with fourteen (14) or more years relevant experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience, or PhD and nine (9) years or more experience Minimum 8 years of Quality Management experience Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, CMMI or ITIL4 Ability to manage and lead quality assurance personnel in all aspects of a quality management program Strong communication skills and experience, including developing briefings that effectively communicate quality assurance goals, initiatives, and activities Ability to collect, evaluate, interpret, and report complex information and data to designated stakeholders Extensive experience conducting internal process audits and product reviewsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
