Senior Python Developer/ Django/ AWS

A non-profit company in the health and medical space is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join their data management application team in Philadelphia. In this position, you'll continue adding on new features and implementing API's. The role is 100% Back-End and the technical stack that they run on is Python and Django with Microservices. You will get the opportunity to work on AWS closely with the DevOps team to get exposure to automation and containerization tools. This is a fulltime position with the ability to pay up to 130k, based on experience. Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Proficient coding in Python and Django
• Strong experience developing and implementing REST APIs in the production environment
• Production experience building and managing applications in a microservices architecture

• Experience overseeing a product throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, from start to finish
• Developing applications in the AWS Cloud
• Experience working with Big Data would be an asset to the team
