Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Engineer

This full-time, permanent Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Engineer career opportunity is at a financially stable, established, growing manufacturer. The company is employee-oriented and family-oriented. There are core hours that need to be worked but they are flexible to meet employee schedules. The company is more interested in the work done verses the hours worked. Some employees have been able to work from home one or two days per week. Employees are treated like family. Employees get along well with each other and stay long-term. There were no layoffs during COVID. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Learning and being trained so the new engineer can learn the company products and methods
• Being responsible for assigned projects from development and design through production
• Taking entire machinery and equipment projects (not just a sub-system) from cradle to grave
• Designing machinery and equipment in Solidworks

• A degree in engineering
• Two or more years of professional experience creating drawings
• Two or more years of Solidworks design experience
• Two or more years of experience with either heavy equipment or machine design or material handling
• Possess a solid work history
• Being a US citizen or green card holder
• Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
