Senior Data Scientist

Want to work at a company with a goal to build a self-driving network system? This technology service company based in Palo Alto delivers services for homes and businesses such as Wi-Fi and motion sensing systems. They are currently looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to protect their technological service system from cyber attacks. Your role as a data scientist is to use your machine learning knowledge to develop new solutions based on data collection. You will also be working closely with Machine Learning engineers to create different learning models. Most importantly, you'll be in a team of self-driven data scientists and machine learning engineers where you'll learn and grow from each other.

• Well-rounded background as a data scientist
• Have about 2 or more years of hands on experience with cyber security and computer networking data
• 3 of more years of experience in creating data science-driven solutions such as data collection
• Some knowledge in machine learning tools (e.g. Tensorflow Numpy, MLlib)
• Expertise in machine learning learning techniques and algorithms
• Coding skills in Python to process large scale data and develop models
• Team-oriented and works well with others

• Create machine learning models using active or passive networking techniques
• Test these models consistently to ensure the safety of their users
• Improve overall quality by enhancing optimization, tooling, and testing
• Develop new solutions and prototype models
• Use data to analyze production decisions and establish baselines
• Work with the engineering and product management teams to enhance new technologies and features
