DescriptionWe're looking for IT professionals who will thrive working with multiple corporate clients to help them support, manage, and plan their IT infrastructure. Mainly operating in Windows environments, most of our clients are small businesses with little or no IT expertise in-house. We're not just looking for the best technical talent, we're also looking for folks who interact well with users - whether they're administrative staff or the business owner!This position provides service to our clients both remotely and on-site, and project planning and completion, strategic planning in conjunction with the WorkSmart team and clients, and limited on-call responsibilities.RequirementsWe are hiring for a Systems Engineer with 7-10 years of experience.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites (70% local travel)
  • Good problem-solving skills with experience identifying and escalating issues.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with team members
  • Motivated; requiring little instruction or guidance from their direct manager.
  • Solid customer service and organizational skills
  • 5+ Years providing user support in a corporate environment.
  • 5+ Years architect and administering Office 365 environments (Mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure AD)
  • 5+ Years architect and administering VMWare environments, including configurations.
  • 5+ Years architect and administering Windows server environments (on-prem and cloud)
  • 5+ years architect and administering Networks
  • 5+ years in troubleshooting networks (VLAN's, Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
You'll also need:
  • excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • the desire and ability to learn new technology
