Role Summary: The Data Management and Delivery team within Transformation Technology Organization seeks a talented Data Integration Architect who will focus on leading end to end testing and migration functions for Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) including test environment set up/coordination, test data loads, data obfuscation, historical data migration, coordination with data ingestion, data integration, data aggregation, master data, and consumption layer / reporting capability teams to carry out end-to-end testing, defect remediation, triage coordination, and release/migration coordination, test artifacts, and regression testbed. Additionally, you will interact with Data Providers, CDO, QE, Business Leads of Pillar 2 BCBS, BAU Controls IT team, and Reporting Shared Services Teams for interface files, test plans/strategy, test execution, reconciliations, and adjustments. You will join a high-profile lean and agile team that will focus on building the firm's next generation data services platform. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the capability leads for data ingestion and data integration with design of solutions
  • Act as a 'Conductor' and 'Single Point of Contact' for end-to-end testing including regression tests and production parallel tests besides SIT and UAT while managing stakeholder expectations and program level reporting functions for testing. Own all test issues, act as liaison between business, capability leads, and Quality Engineering teams
  • Manage testing activities associated with data integration of disparate systems onto Enterprise Data Platform
  • Collaborate and work with data platform engineering team to automated testing solutions to reduce the manual testing activities
  • Build holistic test plans, test strategy, and test case matrices for end-to-end BCBS report & data automation efforts
  • Optimize test environment and test data management to provide faster testing cycles
  • Develop test standards to ensure consistency across different layers/zones/environments
  • Provide problem-solving expertise and complex analysis of defects for timely resolution
  • Conduct toll gates/entry and exit criteria evaluations, produce execution and performance metrics
  • Work with business and technology users for code promotions, test data set up, test scenario set up, and proactive detection of problems through pre-built sanity checks
  • Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems to meet business solutions while meeting SLAs
  • Manage timely escalations and resolutions of defects/problems/issues/blockers and enable capability teams to function effectively in a well-coordinated manner
  • Ensure best practices, standards, processes, and procedures are followed
Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelors' Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Services/Banking in a highly matrixed organization with experience in leading global and virtual teams is required; Banking product knowledge is a must.
  • Experience in end-to-end testing of batch data pipelines required. Exposure to real-time data pipelines is a plus
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data integration, data governance, and data lineage concepts
  • 4+ years of experience with test case management tools such as HP ALM, and test automation tools (either custom developed or vendor software packages)
  • 6+ years of experience prior data integration platform implementations
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS suite (RDS, Redshift, S3, Athena, Glue, EMR, RedShift, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in General Ledger and Reconciliations
  • Prior development/scripting skills with UNIX shell scripts, Python, and Java preferred
  • 5-6 years of experience working with structured query language (SQL) database development, SQL queries, extract transform load (ETL), application programming interfaces (APIs)
  • 5-6 years of experience in software development lifecycle activities
  • 3+ years of experience using Business Intelligence/Reporting Tools such as Tableau
  • 5-6 years of experience with Databases: Access, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Integration: SQL; Hadoop with Hive
  • Knowledge and experience with environment and deployment automation, DevSecOps, using BitBucket, Jenkins, etc. preferred
  • Detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills
