The technology division of a Fortune 100 company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer and is offering up to $85/hour (12-month contract, option to extend or convert). This engineer is someone with an operations mentality who can act as an AWS subject matter expert, and can bring in best DevOps practices. Someone experienced with tools like Cloudformation, ECS/Fargate, and API Gateway who would like to improve the operations of a data analytics platform will fit in perfectly here. Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience
- Proficient in Linux/AWS environment
- Strong understanding of or hands-on with CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Scripting (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with Java
- Microservices
- DevOps best practices
- Agile best practices
- Strong scripting skills

- 10% Management Duties
