Job DetailsRight now, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive, implement and coach DevOps practice adoption across application development domains to ensure implementations for speed, quality and resilience. This role will also have some hands on, full stack development responsibilities. In this role, you will support and aspire to find efficient ways of working following DevOps practices so that teams can create and release regular updates of products much quicker than using the more traditional development model. You will promote the culture that development, test, security and operations are a shared responsibility for the whole team and not individuals. You will support teams to work in alignment with directives, principles and guidelines in order to secure high quality software.In this role you'll interact with stakeholders and global teams to ensure that business needs are fulfilled - both related to one-time and run-time deliveries. You will have great opportunities to influence our way of working and drive continuous improvements together with the teams. You have a proven record of the ability to make and influence decisions and create strong networks. In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager for Aftermarket within North America. Core Responsibilities:
  • Work with DevOps teams to oversee and facilitate code releases or deployments on a CI/CD basis
  • Build innovative solutions and technologies to improve quality and performance
  • Responsible for the development of high quality, scalable and maintainable systems using service-oriented architecture
  • Identify repetitive tasks that slows down the releases and supporting the automation of these to reduce team's workload
  • Structure and optimize release cycles by removing hidden time drains, and introduce new ways of moving the process along (new software, for example)
  • Monitor production and report/ provide feedback from production to reduce time to detect' (TTD) and time to minimize' (TTM) the errors
  • Drive and Implement Devops through the use of Automation tools, Source Code Control, Containerization software, Configuration Management tools, Repository Management Software and Project Management tools
Ideal Background:
  • 3-5 years supporting agile teams in their DevOps journey
  • Docker & Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Mix of Windows and Linux experience
  • PowerShell scripting / Bash scripting
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • YAML based build Pipelines
Nice to have:
  • Selenium test automation
  • JavaScript programming
  • Microsoft Flow/Power Automate
  • Microsoft Graph APIs
  • Experience with Dynamic/Static Application Security Testing
  • Experience with Software Composition Analysis tool(s) such as BlackDuck, SonarQube
