Create system architecture, design and specification using in-depth engineering skills and knowledge to solve difficult development problems and achieve engineering goals. Determine and source appropriate data for a given analysis. Work with data modelers/analysts to understand the business problems they are trying to solve then create or augment data assets to feed their analysis. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.Job DescriptionThe Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Next Generation Access Network (NGAN) organization is a highly agile, fast paced, and dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.About the Position: This is a pivotal role operating at the intersecting between Architecture, Product and Engineering. You will work in partnership with these key groups to understand and translate requirements. If you enjoy data architecture and design, read on!What You'll Do:

  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely through presentations and data visualizations to business partners
  • Promote a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork throughout the org
  • Lead analysis and design of existing and new business processes that span multiple areas of the organization
  • Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection and value of potential insights that can be driven to executive members and staff
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
  • Experience creating statistical models and model management
  • Fluency in data access - querying data, understand programming languages (SQL, Spark, Python, R), transform the data
  • Understanding of and practical experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC)
  • Understanding of cloud architecture including managing access to cloud services (AWS is a plus!)
  • Ability to "tell the story" and diagram the features for partners
  • Collecting information (Programming)
  • Organizing and categorizing data (Analysis)
  • Creating a coherent integration of that vision in the forms of models (Synthesis)
  • Providing formal blueprints (Specification)
