Our financial client is building their fast-growing team and is looking to hire a SRE Engineer. You will work on building software which enables business to move at quicker pace by removing obstacles in processing. The team is working with the most up to date tools and on some exciting projects. You will be part of a small team where you will be able to have an immediate impact on the environment. This includes building and managing scalable cloud hosted systems with opensource tools and management. The team is very motivated, collaborative, and they work hard and play hard. Required Skills & Experience:- At least 2 years' experience working in a AWS DevOps environment
- Experience deploying to cloud-based technology
- Scripting knowledge with Perl, Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Packer
- CI/CD using Jenkins is preferred but open to other tools
- Manage deployments, automate the infrastructure environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues both on a large and small scale
- Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with teams
- Contract to Hire: $60-65/hr. Conversion Salary: $120-130K
