Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a qualified Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager 2, to work with an Oil & Gas client in Midland, TX with experience in facilities maintenance . The Facilities/Engineering Operations Manager 2 will be responsible for Hands on supervising of Hard services operations, PMs and subcontractors. Works with on-site and off-site teams to achieve safe and efficient results. Meets budget and KPI expectations. Are You the One? Key Responsibilities:- lead and oversee day to day operations for several services from Janitorial, landscaping, facility maintenance, HVAC, and Boiler/Chiller repair;
- schedule and conduct quality checks for preventative maintenance on all equipment and repair;
- search for opportunities for savings; growth, and efficiencies to include innovation;
- works with Facility Director in managing budgets and site financials;
- provide expertise to client and utilize Project Management skills where necessary;
- in charge of the safety program for the site, conducting weekly training and work directly with client in safety audits;
- lead a team of 9 technicians and several custodians in the Houston market for an IFM account;
- possess a good mix of management skills as well as equipment maintenance skills;
- procure parts for repairs as needed and requested by technicians to complete jobs;
- schedule necessary maintenance and repairs from outside vendors as needed; and/or
- order inventory supplies for mechanical team as well as janitorial department to maintain a working inventory.
- a proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
- strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management;
- demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding;
- exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
- strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building;
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus;
- a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields is preferred; and/or
- Maximo experience is a plus.
