Remote Wastewater System Operator

CE2 Engineers, Inc. (CE2), a leading civil engineering and construction management company serving rural Alaska, has an opening for an experienced Wastewater System Operator to assist rural Alaska communities with the operation of community wastewater collection and treatment systems, and provide training to local staff.

Minimum Requirements:

10 years wastewater system construction and operation experience, including gravity sewer collection, lift stations, pressure sewers, facultative lagoons, and aerated lagoons.

Level I Wastewater Collection and Treatment Certifications (Alaska or transferrable)

Good written and verbal communications skills. Must be able to work with local staff and the public and maintain a professional demeanor.

Willing and able to travel within rural Alaska. Rural Alaska experience a plus.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and be willing to observe local and rural COVID-19 masking, social distancing, and testing requirements which may vary by community.

Terms of Employment:

Full time field position. Typical assignments up to 60 days in each rural location.

Normal field hours are six 10-hour days per workweek

Transportation is provided to and from Anchorage to rural Alaskan job site

Room and board are provided at the job site
