Construction Services Field Operations Manager

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for a Construction Services Field Operations Manager in Phoenix, AZ. The Construction Services Field Manager will play a critical role in the day to day operations of our field testing and inspection group. We are looking for an individual who is looking for dynamic position, and will lead a large team and keep the focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, be comfortable with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and an ability to learn and use proprietary computer programs. Strong organization and planning skills are a must. The candidate will be required to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. In general, this person will oversee;

Safety

Assistant Radiation Safety Officer

Equipment Management/Vehicle Fleet Management

Lead technical meetings for training of field staff

Mentorship of new field staff

Interface with project manager/field staff/and client representatives

Core skills include:

Strong writing/communication abilities

Familiar with Excel/word/PowerPoint/Adobe

Disciplined and self-motivated

Familiarity with construction processes and testing practices and procedures>

Leadership

Blend field knowledge and office practices

Minimum Qualifications include:

ATTI/ACI Field certifications

7+ years' experience in construction/construction testing/inspections or a combination of education and experience

GED or High School Diploma>

Preferred Qualifications include:

ICC certifications in Fire Proofing, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry or others

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field is a bonus
