Santa Barbara based Architectural and Interior Design Firm has a full-time position available for a motivated and experienced Associate Interior Designer. The firm specializes in high-end residential design and luxury commercial projects, delivering a first-class client experience and inspirational design.
Candidate will work in a collaborative environment reporting to the Head Interior Designer and Principal Architect. Must be capable of shifting gears quickly in a fast-paced, team atmosphere while managing many project details.
The ideal candidate will possess:
3 + years of experience in high-end residential and luxury commercial projects
Extensive familiarity with vendors, particularly in the Santa Barbara and Los Angeles areas
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Visual communication skills for both digital and tactile presentations
Strong attention to detail and organization
Understanding of plans and elevations
Creative and innovative ideas
Problem solving ability
Experience with project purchasing and expediting
Proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, Studio Designer, Microsoft Office Suite
Some travel involved. Applicants should have a portfolio of work to be reviewed in the interview process.
