Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Accountant is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, and for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position is responsible for preparation of the financial report, maintenance of the budgeting and accounting system.

  • Initiate budged and forecasting activities.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
  • Interface with other department to verify transaction report data and issues.
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and us o f resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
  • Ensure the team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross departmental and cross foundation teamwork and customer service.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach full potential using performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with Company RSM/QCM. Must be aware of ISO/TCS quality requirements. Sees that all department employees are aware of quality program.
  • Ensure that all department employees are properly cross trained.
  • Oversee and ensure Company compliance with ISO Standard as Management Representative

  • Enforces safety and Chromalloy policies within the workplace.
  • Evaluates the performances of staff members and recommends promotion as appropriate.
  • Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties.
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS in Accounting of Business Management with an emphasis in accounting preferred.
  • 3 or more years experience working experience

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:

  • Certified Public Accountant preferred.
