Field Construction Coordinator (70K to 90K)

Field Construction Coordinator – 70K to 90K plus company vehicle. Must embrace travel!

For over 100 years we have been a leader in our industry, manufacturing (and installing) large industrial equipment for a wide range of customers all over the world. In addition, we also provide Turnkey Construction solutions for our customers that are upgrading or building new facilities. Due to growth, we are hiring a Field Construction Coordinator that will provide leadership on Turnkey Construction projects at customer sites both in the SE US and abroad. The Field Construction Coordinator will work within a team environment to provide resources, technical guidance, administrative and technical services for efficient project execution. The Field Construction Coordinator plays a key role in building and maintaining a positive working relationship between all stake holders.

Best fits for the Field Construction Coordinator:

3 plus years of experience in leadership positions on construction projects.

3 plus years of experience in industrial construction and/or installation of machinery preferred.

Ability to ensure compliance of contract documents, including specifications and engineered drawings.

Communicate with assigned Project Manager and Project team with progress reports/schedules/action lists.

Perform safety meetings with contractors/subcontractors.

Direct communicator that can facilitate close work with clients, field personnel, and internal departments to achieve deadlines and quality work.

High proficiency in MS Office (including MS Project).

Self- directed with strong organizational skills.

Take initiative to help develop processes that promote success with projects.

Ability to travel (initially 60% to increase to 80% and can be for extended length of time).

OSHA Training Required.

College degree preferred in Construction Management/ Engineering or technical field.

It is paramount that you have strong leadership skills in Construction with knowledge of how to solve problems with both customers and field personnel. This is a full-time salaried position (70K to 90K plus company vehicle) complete with medical/dental/life/401K/tuition reimbursement/paid vacation/paid holidays and all paid expenses incurred in travel.
