Before entering theworld of construction I was a part-owner of a professionalrecruiting firm for nearly 7 years; we helped engineering firms find the critical employees they needed to succeed. Back then I'd often tell my clients "Your job post sounds great, and very professional,but makesno darn sense." The person reading it is impressed, but do they truly understand what they will be doing, and what will be expected in this role? Of then the answer was no. I don't intend on making the same mistake here. This post is long and if you cannot read all of it and follow the simple instructions included in the post you are definitely not the detail-orientedoffice manager/assistant I need.

We have several roofing crews, several gutter crews, paint crews, etc, but you'll be one of only 3-4 core employeeswhomanage the operations of the company. That means this is a critical position, and finding "exactly the right person" is very important to me.

Here we go:

Requirements 1-3 are the MANDATORY, 4-7 are important but not absolutely critical:

1. Must Speak Conversational Spanish (means you can carry on a 15 min convo with a native Spanish speaker without great difficulty.)

2. Must have at least a 2-year degree (4 yr. degree preferred)

3. Must live within 20 miles of Brockett ElementarySchool in Tucker, GA (people say they are "willing to commute" but 9 months later they are losing their minds and I want you to be able to have a life too.)

4. Good computer skills andspecifically proficient w/ MS ExcelKnowledge of Quickbooks for Accounting & Bookkeeping.

5. Experience in the world of construction.

6. Reasonably good math skills and NOT AFRAID OF MATH.

7. Good written communicationskills (in English, in Spanishtoo is a bonus!)

8. Social Media Marketing Knowledge & Experience.

9. Physically capable and able to lift up to 30 lbs. (on a rare occasion you may be asked to help load some items into a truck etc.)
