Job DescriptionCraft Your Career with BrassCraft Manufacturing Company!POSITION SUMMARY:The Inside Sales Leader is responsible for coaching and directing the work of a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) who partners with Regional Sales Managers to develop new prospects and engage with existing customers, as well as independent sales reps to increase sales. This leadership role will coordinate with our Regional Sales team to ensure goals are met while providing support to the field team through regional relationships, and customers, over the phone and via field visits.KEY FOCUS:Work with ISR team to help them hit or exceed their/your monthly revenue target

Spend majority of your time training and coaching ISR team

Heavy participation and contribution to hiring process to select A players

Weekly reporting on the progress of your team; driving an open line of communication to the Sales leaders on projects and opportunities for improvement

Weekly coaching sessions with team members to effect positive change and retain top talent

Call coaching and call assistance from reps when needed

Establish team measurements, KPIs, and provide regular reporting on progress and tracking

Work closely with leaders to ensure optimal efficiency between teams

Constantly review and refine sales processes to increase effectiveness of the team

Supports the inside sales functions of the regional territories by managing and coaching Inside Sales

Provides career development and coaching for ISR team in partnership with Sales leaders

Manage pipeline fill and follow up on sales opportunities with sales representatives and regional team

Actively manages open quote opportunities and coordinate status with independent sales reps to drive revenue while monitoring effectiveness

Research cost and market data for quote document creation

Manages quote renewal and expiration

Run and create sales reports for use by the regional and sales reps for customer calls (i.e., mid-month annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly and year-to-date sales by category/region)

Creates insights using Stratum data reporting

Collaboratively substitutes product to address back-order issues

Identifies revenue opportunities through communications, programs, and other activities, as needed

Update rep scorecards and distribute to agency partners

Develop and implement Net Promoter Score sentiment and track our progress

Communicates key initiatives with National Buying Groups

Identifies incremental sales opportunities with existing customers

Track and update sales goals, promotions, and rebate statuses with sales reps

Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events, when necessary

Actively participate in the planning and execution of company marketing activities, providing input based on interactions with prospects

Able to travel 10%+ Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

4 – 6 years of progressive experience demonstrating results tied to sales growth, including 2 years of people leadership experience

Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite

COMPETENCIES:Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products

Takes the initiative and has a high sense of teamwork and collaboration

Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques

Experience in developing successful sales teams based on enthusiastic leadership and motivational skills

Experience analyzing monthly and weekly sales trends based on reports, metrics, KPIs, and creating meaningful changes to affect positive results

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams

Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines

Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative without daily interaction with management
