Help Desk Support

Description There is a job opening with Robert Half for a Help Desk Support in an innovative and fast-paced work environment. We need a creative with a talent for solving both routine and unique problems. This is a position that will support local and field users as a highly visible role that has a positive impact on both the department and the company. This Help Desk Support role is based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area and is a 3 month contract opportunity. Key responsibilities- Image computers- Set up cell phones for company new employees- Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems- Provide solutions and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups- Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of customer service- Command of Basic Troubleshooting- Proficiency in Computer Imaging- Understanding of basic networking concepts- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively- Demonstrated excellence in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications- Ability to work for any company in the United States (No C2C) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
