Job Description - Senior Developer

• Design and implement foundational security infrastructure to support automation and security initiatives.
  • To include:
    • Splunk Dashboard creation from user requirements
    • Data feed onboarding (to include API endpoint automation) for new data feeds into Splunk
    • Vulnerability Remediation visibility across multiple tools (ie) Tenable Nessus, Twistlock, Threadfix, Prisma Cloud, etc.)
• Coordinate with other business units to ensure adoption of operational and product security features
  • Will require presentation experience to business units
• Work with team members to ensure that the teams are all aligned on security engineering vision and centralize operational procedures.
  • Working within InfoSec teams
• Create documentation and guidance artifacts (automation configurations, scripting policies) to ensure that all Security engineering efforts follow a repeatable and scalable pattern
  • Will require experience with SOP and documentation creation for end users to follow
• Research and investigate new effective ways of building security and automation into the existing technology workflow
  • User must have enterprise level experience in automation with scripting (python, etc.) and IaC tools (ie.) terraform) for automation processes and infrastructure buildouts

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of how-to security requirements impact the business
• Minimum of 5 years with backend and front-end experience of Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security
• Minimum 3-5+ years working with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) in an enterprise environment
• Required experience with cloud-based security tools (CloudTrail, WAF, Security Center, etc.)
• Required experience with writing code and automation in Python
• Required experience with writing code and automation in IaC infrastructure development (Terraform, CloudTrail, ARM, etc.)
• Required experience deploying solutions with serverless technology (containers, lambda, etc.)
• Required experience with source code management tools (Git, SVN, etc.)
• 5+ years security engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Ability to mentor and guide team members and take responsibility for work efforts
• Ability to operate within a cross functional team (i.e. DevSecOps)
• Advanced knowledge of cloud-based platforms AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
• Experience with Web Services, API, REST
