Python Security DeveloperLocation: Madison, WI (Remote only during COVID)Required Skills: Python scripting, Log stash/ELK developer, JSON parsingPreferred Skills: API Security, Google Cloud Platform Big Query and Looker experienceResponsibilities: Need experience writing configs for parsers in Logstash format.Chronicle Config Based Normalizer (CBN) parser format is similar to Elastic Search (ELK).Ideally knows JSON, Python Coding, working with Restful APIs; Security and Cloud experience. Code Python parsers for APIs. Analytics for detecting security threats. SDLC, Code reviews, Version Control.

Nice to have: Google Cloud Platform, Chronicle, SIEM

Detailed Requirement Utilize programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow.Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.Document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules.Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities Include: 1.Setup/Install the Google Chronicle SaaS platform and underlying Google Cloud Platform needs2.Participate in all stages of SDLC for the product design and work with the clients on their requirements3.Design and plan for the development and use cases4.Integration with ACCESS Salesforce and related audit events5.Implement, test and production go-live and support
