Iris Rd, Mount Pleasant, IA 52641 location! The Shipping Lead is responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members. As team lead, you are one of the contact points for all team members. This role requires excellent communication to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Position includes comprehensive benefits package and paid time off on day one and mentorship support to ensure successful team member growth and development. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, 1st shift, direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities:Loading/Unloading product

Daily use of overhead crane in conjunction with moving product

Forklift and yard truck usage as necessary

Oversee day-to-day operation

Delegate tasks and set deadlines

Monitor team performance

Motivate team members

Discover training needs and provide coaching

Complete Ownership of our quality programs and scrap initiatives

“Zero Tolerance” attitude towards safety, quality, and accuracy

Encourage creativity

Recognize high performance and accomplishments

Other duties within the department as assigned by the Team Supervisor

Decision-making skills

Must be able to lift 60 lbs

Warehouse background, Overhead crane experience, and forklift skills are very helpful

Must be flexible with hours needed to work

Must be able to work outside in shipping yard as needed throughout seasons

Must be able to work night shift when required

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Basic computer knowledge

Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
