Full Stack Java Developer

Insight Global is looking to directly hire multiple Full Stack Java Developers in a permanent role to join a growing financial company located in West Des Moines, IA. This person will be working closely with an Enterprise Applications team who supports over 55 internal systems across 4 different Product Lines including Web, Imaging, Call Center, and Enterprise IBR platforms. As Full Stack Java Developer on this team, you will be expected to work in a 60% backend and 40% front-end environment. These candidates will be connecting and deploying CICD pipelines using Kubernetes. In addition, these candidates will lead TDD testing, assist with code reviews, and be expected to take on some more senior level or leadership responsibilities as they learn the enterprise environment. During the first 3 months, these candidates will learn the clients internal operating systems by partnering with Production focused teams at first. After the initial 3 months of learning and critical thinking, these candidates are expected to hit the ground running and be key contributors to their respective teams and projects. Team Lead, Technical Lead, or Lead Developer experience Angular 4+ Insurance or Annuity experience Git/GitHub/Gitlab etc5+ Years of Full Stack Java Development with J2EE and SpringBoot 4+ years working experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript. 3+ Years of demonstrating a strong ability in backend Java Development Leadership exposure conducing code reviews, presenting to business stakeholders, leading projects or teams, etc. Experience with end to end API Development Strong understanding of CICD pipelines for connecting and deployments Jenkins/Mavin Experience with Microservices Deployments to the cloud TDD Testing experience in an Agile environmento Working knowledge of tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, BitBucket, JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, and Selenium Exposure working in a large enterprise environment Scrum, Kanban, or Lean experience working on a multifunctional Agile team Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar field.
