Description Robert Half is partnering with a Cedar Rapids, Iowa based company who is seeking an experience Infrastructure Project Manager for an upcoming project. This is a remote, 12-18 month contract opportunity who will spearhead a project that entails upgrading over 150 servers to the latest version of Windows and SQL. If you are a seasoned PM with PMI fluency and is able to take command of project management fundamentals, this is the role for you! Candidates in the Eastern Iowa area are preferredWe are seeking experienced and energetic Program Manager who is passionate about leading complex, multi-sourced, interdependent transformative programs and driving the programs to successful outcomes for our employees and customers. The Program Manager will be responsible for shaping the approach to delivery; managing team members' activities across multiple functions; balancing decisions impacting business outcomes, scope/cost/schedule, risk and quality; reporting on program KPIs, and producing timely results. - Lead digital transformation programs, including approach definition, scope and task management, opportunity and risk management, deliverables and performance
- Partner with sponsor to communicate program goals, objectives and outcomes
- Build mutually-beneficial partnership with peer program delivery leaders from strategic Suppliers
- Facilitate stakeholder and delivery team alignment to cultivate a shared vision for program outcomes, and joint prioritization of scope and delivery activities
- Establish and maintain recurring communications regarding pertinent program activities for key leaders and stakeholders
- Develop program-level business and IT resource plans
- Oversees the execution of program activities, dependencies, and conflict resolution
- Ensure creation and upkeep of artifacts through the lifecycle of the program
- Manage the program budget and expenditures within the plan
- Provide overall program governance, including management reports on performance indicators and associated corrective action needs
- Lead program reviews with sponsor and stakeholders to ensure clarity of status, awareness of concerns, and alignment on key decisions
- Continually seek opportunities to strengthen and simplify practice area
