Systems Engineer

Submit your application now and learn more about this exciting opportunity!Your responsibilities in this role- Configure, test, maintain, and install operating systems, system management tools, and application software- Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution- Assist in the design of information and operational support systems- Note and support custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks- Establish standards to actively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability- Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support- Safeguard security, redundancy strategies, and back up- Screen and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, specify possible solutions, and act jointly with developers to apply those fixes- Oversee and follow up on all installed systems and infrastructure Requirements - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with monitoring systems- If you're looking for job openings and have experience with virtualization and containerization, you might be a good fit for this position- Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks is required for success at this position- Microsoft Exchange Server experience desired- Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365- Experience with SharePoint- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid scripting skills- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge- This position will be the best fit for a candidate with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems- If you have experience with automation software, you will be strongly preferred for this position Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
