OverviewPK, the experience engineer firm, is seeking a Development, Security, Operations Engineer (DevSecOps) to join our team as a full time employee in Lincoln, NE. This role is responsible for bringing development, security and operations together to create a more robust security system.Responsibilities
- Provide commitment to human centered agility, quality and technical excellence.
- Mob and pair with your team to design, code, test, debug, deploy and document software in an agile environment.
- Work with your team to support agile engineer practices such as:
- Deliver small narrow slices of functionality.
- Test driven development.
- Continuous integration/continuous deployment.
- Tackle a wide variety of technical problems.
- Modernize a mainframe to be Java/Cloud.
- Responsible for building the architecture and solution from the ground up.
- Set up production and test environments for a new cloud based application that is being modernized off of a mainframe environment.
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and experience with several of the following:
- Designing and creating infrastructure automation using Terraform.
- Configuring Terraform to provision AWS resources as well as troubleshoot existing Terraform/shell scripts.
- Strong knowledge of the creation of Terraform base templates for mass deployments.
- Strong engineering experience in DevOps, Continuous Delivery & automation including Docker, Ansible, Packer, CloudBees Jenkins.
- Engineering experience with security, monitoring and analysis tools such as Splunk, SonarQube, NewRelic, VictorOps.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure security & IAM privilege management.
- Experience with automated unit testing, end to end testing, smoke tests striving for 100% automated test coverage.
- Experience with application logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Experience building APIs using a microservices architecture.
- Experience designing systems for extremely high availability with 99.9% uptime.
